Is it possible that an 86 San Dimas would not say Made in USA on the headstock? I'm looking at this guitar where everything seems legit but the headstock doesn't say Made in USA.

Yes, it's possible. There's a few out there without the USA designation on them.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling. -
It's more normal on late 80s Jacksons but SD Jacksons sometimes have plain logos too. Especially if it's more custom like with reverse headstock, different logo color or graphic on headstock...My band here -> http://www.diceoffate.com/Comment

Alot of the student archtops didnt have usa on the headstocks, my old one JA0066 didn't.
