I think a message board communication breakdown has happened. I was simply replying that your response was funny as well as it was a reply to Bullseye's first post. Copied from the thread as such:

I very much appreciate the help you and others have provided me. I'm not only a newb to the board, but to playing music in general. The information I have received such far has made playing a guitar that much more rewarding.

          Sorry for the miscommunication RacerX.

The cavity number is work order #, not serial number, so you shouldn't expect them to match. I'd bet the plate is original, not that it matters much!

Hey! That is my old guitar! I routed it out like that!

Wow. That is my old guitar! I remember routing it out too. I was really wasted. I could barely hold the guitar up that night. It felt so heavy and I was really really boxed that night. I drank a 5th of Jack. Anyway. I wanted to play the guitar so bad that night because I write the best stuff when I am really friggin boxed. So I broke out the trusty router and made it a bit lighter. Boy did I right some weird stuff that night.

I remember that. Yeah. It was black. What a retard.

                              heh heh. yep.

looks like a good project though. are you going to just replace the body? Was it slash (jcf member) that was selling scrap wood used for bodies a few months ago? Maybe you could use some to fill the holes.

For the moment, there are no immediate plans for the body except some extra covers for the routes.
