With Christmas coming up, I don't have much money, just wanted to put a deposit on it, but I'll pay it off soon.
The board does look like rosewood, and that's what Scott's site says, but Dean's site says ebony. I've also read on the Dean Forum that some people got theirs and it's ebony. Maybe it's striped ebony, I don't know.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.Comment

Cool. I know a lot of ebony is striped and not pitch black anyway. It's okay with me either way. I also like rosewood, so it's not a big deal one way or the other.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.Comment

A nice even black ebony board looks nice, but is also kinda boring. I like the dark and light stripes in rosewood, and in striped ebony. Only 2 of my guitars have ebony boards. All the others except my strat are rosewood.Comment
