  • 1986 SD King V

With all the other cool Vs that keeping popping up, here's another one to add to the mix. I just picked it up last week and got it all cleaned up. It's an '86 custom King V that I bought from the original owner. I've always wanted a KV or a Rhoads but I've never bought one - until now. And I've also never had a guitar with a Kahler. So I figured I would give them a shot when I got the opportunity to grab this one.

It's in awesome shape and is all original except the bridge pickup has been swapped for a Duncan. The color is definitely unique and let me say that the neon pink is even brighter in person. It has a certain glow to it!

Enjoy the pics, especially you Budman (I know how you love pink guitars)!

Now that is very cool A classic old KV, and it's pink - genius!
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Holy Jesus! It's beautiful. Not a Kahler guy, but Id' gladly own that.

Is it double RR size, or regular KV2 size? Hard to tell from the pics.

Wow.... Nice git. The color is a little 'loud and proud' for my tastes, but its certainly fine axe.
