  • J1090 - Jackson Custom Flying V!!!

    I'm in love !!!

First of all BIG thanks to Joe for letting me have this guitar and for making
    this a comfortable transaction!
Also thanks to Juha for stopping by today to help with my cleanup routine and for taking pics!

1985 Jackson Custom Roundhorn/Flying V. Serial J1090, WO 4453. White with black binding on body, neck and headstock. Binding over frets too.
Suprisingly lightweight compared to my blue V. Kahler tremolo, original Jackson J50N and now J50BC in the bridge. Total tone heaven and very comfortable to play. Regular SD period neck profile. Excellent condition.

    Here are some pics...

And finally my SD V pair. The blue one weighs twice as much and has a longer headstock and fatter neck profile. This pair should keep me happy musically for a loooong time.

It was a rainy day here so better pics will come later.

WHOA! Does it have black binding? Even if it doesn't the fretboard looks awesome, that ebony is so dark and the inlays are looking great... Congrats!

                          Yes black binding all over.
Thanks for all the kind comments!
The guitar is not as mint as it looks in the pics but all the dings on it are small and the white finish hides them - aslo thanks to Dunlop products. I polished the frets so they really shine nicely vs. the black binding and ebony fretboard. The binding over frets looks odd with black binding. You can't really see where the ebony ends and bindings starts so it looks like a really wide fretboard that has shorter frets. Hard to explain but really cool looking in person.
