  • Jackson USA Strat ques...

    Hey guys-

I've owned and played quite a few Jackson's since the late 80's. I just stumbled across this site while searching for some info. I'm looking at purchasing a Jackson USA Strat serial #64xx (or pretty close) w/ San Dimas neck plate. It's a single hum w/ 1/2 black 1/2 white paint, in pretty good shape. No case w/ it. I'm guessing late 80's after the move to Ontario. Any idea (ballpark) what these things are fetching nowadays?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Steve

I have no idea and have not seen a white black one as you describe, but welcome to the forum anyway

Thanks for the replies! Yeah, it's a diagonal black and white. The asking price is over a grand...not such a great deal I guess. I wasnt too excited about the paint anyways, but I loved the neck. Maybe I'll keep my eyes out for a similar one with a different paint job. Thanks again!

A grand is way over priced.Graphics do bring higher prices.
These guitars are great and will go up in value in the years to come. There are a few SD plated Ontario Jacksons I would pay that much for but they would have to be mint or owned by a big name at one time.
I love a well used SD Jackson bolt on they have the best necks.

I owned one with H-S config, JT-6 trem, w/ ebony fretboard. Sold it for $720 a couple years back on E-bay. I'd say anything under $700 is a good deal if it's in good condition.
