Ke2 owners!

I've got a ke-2 also. It's excellent. The only minus, it nose dives. And I do use thick leather strap (and nose dives still). The outer strap button need to be moved towards the inside of the back of the body and the problem is solved.
My KV-1 IMHO is the best guitar balance-wise (out of all shapes) for standing up playing.
For sitting down, I put the KV-1 between my legs and it's just fine.

I really dig the tone you had.It is allmost the Rythm tone that i am looking for!
The Finish is awesome.much better than on the Jacskon site.i am going for that trans black or burnt cherry burst.I don't know now.i have to touch them both!
The video is great ,but the first pic rules man!Believe me ,it is one of the finest guitar i ever seen!You're really lucky!
And for King Diamond.
He delivered the best gig ever i had.He really inspired me in many ways and i hear him since i am 15!and it's 16 years now

But my Guitar heroes are Marty Friedman ,Jeff Loomis and Chuck Shuldiner (r.i.p)..There are many more like LaRoqcue (i love him in individual tought patterns too).But nothing beats the tone and Feel of Friedman and Shuldiner!

My main amp is a Cornford MK50 and it rips with any guitar. My Kelly has a very balanced tone that sounds just great through any of my amps...well, not so much with my Princeton. lol

My KE2

First here are my ex KE2 in Amber lager burst and my ex SL2H in trans black:



And here are my current axes; KE2 Tobacco Sunburst and an SL1 Trans red. The Kelly is now equipped with an EMG81/85 set and I just love how it sounds through my ENGL E670SE and twin 4X12's with V30's. I play mainly 80's Heavy Rock/Metal (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden Ozzy etc) There's absolutely no problem with nose diving - just use a wide strap with rough back side and it's all fine.



I like KE's so much that I ordered a custom Kelly shaped guitar from RAN Guitars six months ago (w/slightly different body back contouring, a Kahler Pro trem, EMG89 etc...) When I get my RAN, I *might* sell my KE2...let's see how things roll.

Man the problem is ,that i can't test ride a RAN ,i never know what i get!
I'm going to choose one of two colors.Burnt Cherry sunburst ,or trans Black!
BTW ,killer guitars!
