I like the Copperhead better too , but I'd look into Green myself.
One of our former memebers here (I think he is former) has a Green
snake dinky bolt on that looks absolutely amazing.
that's what get's my vote.

Copper Head.

I'm in on (actually I started it) the Copper Head run in the limited guitars section so I'm a little biased.

Both look cool...but the Copper Head is more my style.

wasn't CH axed from the USA Select finish list? i wanted a WR1 in that finish but only the SL1 and SL2 had it at the time. personally, i'd go for the brown python but i'm sure either would go fine on your new guitar.

Is the copperhead finish from Charvel, the same as for Jacksons?

From what I saw in the SL2H Copperhead pics, I love the finish, but, it looks a bit "boring" in the sense that it only has like 2 colors and it's very dark.

My other option will be have the copperhead (metallic) finish as a base BUT add a bit more of the brownish/olive-greenish tones of the brown python so it looks a bit more realistic and complete.

What do you think?

I'd go with brown python. I've seen Copperhead in person and found it to be fairly dark under normal lighting. Yeah it shows up great in all those halogen flashbulb pictures, but in "real life" it doesn't look as good IMO.

I always thought it would be cool if someone did a light colored snakeskin with a glow in the dark finish , that would rock. But I like crazier stuff thats just me.

Choose wisely because it will be a long wait and you dont want to change your mind by the time it is made.
