Does jackson made a usa soloist with an archtop & floyd?
i know they make the string through archtops. but im looking for one with a floyd. anyone know?

also, in the early 90's were the necks on soloists different from present day, and if yes. how so?

I've never seen one personally with a floyd except in custom shop models.

As far as necks in soloists go, I think they were thinner in the early 90's. My friend had one from that time period and the neck was like the speed neck of a king v.

As far as american archtop Soloists with Floyds go, you´ll have to find something from the custom shop since there never was a production model like that. I´d recommend trying to find a Archtop Soloist Professional or a Charvel 750XL, but since they were made in Japan you might not be interested. But they are basically as good as anything from the USA, so no worries there.

The early nineties Soloists had a bit thinner necks than the SL´s of today, at least from my experience.
