  • New Bird

    I just recieved this from Robert Witte It's J0758, the first ever Jackson Firebird, built for and used regularly by Robbin Crosby (RIP). Robert had the guitar restored by GMW as the previous owner had a recess cut for the trem and then got it resprayed black
    GMW did a great job (as usual) and from looking it over, the only way to know it's been restored is that it's in amazingly good condition for a 22 year old guitar I normally prefer the clean, no scratchplate look, so I've taken pics of it in both states....

    I typically like guitars with out the gaurds too. That one looks great both ways though!

      Looks like a great neck for both the guitars, but I really don't like the shape...I prefer the Gibson original one

        Damn Neilli, GREAT SCORE!!!!!!! I remember seeing a picture of Robbin with that guitar in a magazine back in the day!!

                Congrats! I am Jealous. I always call that one Robbin. Take care of that one. That was awesome of Robert to sell it to you. Hey. Can we see some more pics? That is the one that got me hooked on Jacksons...

                    Sure - what pics d'you want? Don't forget that Robbin had two red Firebirds though - the other has a clear coated back and a reverse head....
