I've bought a 2006 DK1 and PC1 in the last year and the quality is fantastic. My guitars had no issues whatsoever and were setup perfectly. I know this is not the case with everyone though, but I've had good luck. The only thing that I question is the ebony boards look more like rosewood then ebony. Don't know why that is though.

Bought a brand new KV2 last February.

Quality is what I would expect for $1600. Now if they could just make a bullet proof paint that doesn't chip no matter how hard you hit the tips on stuff.

Bought a second hand KBRR 2005. Awesome quality.

I bought one recently and the quality is excellent. I know others have had issues lately. I recommend playing it before you buy if possible. The ole try it before you buy it!
