Thought I'd dig up this old thread.

I didn't do anything with this guitar YET. Getting the itch to. LOL, I think it was pebber who kept his guitar(s) in a dresser drawer? that is where this one's been hiding.

Definitely time to put it together.

I'd like to do something a little different with this guitar, more chrome. Already have the floyd and toplock. I think it'll receive a chrome knob and trim pup rings. Should look sweet.

I'll keep you posted with progress pix as it moves along. Prolly go with a JB for the back and a custom for the neck.

the neck fits like a hand to a glove. it'll receive a jb in the bridge along with a custom in the neck. the original studs are being replaced with OFR chrome studs.

after that's done, a fresh wiring job will be done along with a level/crown and polish to the fretwire.

here is a pic of it with the neck mocked up. should be done in no time:
