  • New Custom Shop Guitar Arrives - Anyone into S&M?

    Because this one's fully bound. Just arrived early today. Pics first, then specs, etc.

    Flat-top body (no bevels)
    1/8th quilted maple top
    Body binding, front and back
    3-piece mahogany neck
    Graphite nut, 1 & 11/16ths
    Speed Neck Profile (775-835)
    Sperzel locking tuners
    Mahogany body sides
    Bound neck & headstock
    Ebony fretboard, 24 jumbo frets
    Vintage-style mother of pearl sharkfin inlays
    Black headstock
    Gold vintage-style Jackson logo
    String-through TOM bridge
    Gold hardware
    Controls: Volume, volume, 3-way
    Pickups: Duncan Custom & Pearly Gates
    Finish: Dark Transparent Plum

    That is amazing! I am a sucker for string thru Kellys ever since I landed my KE2T!

    That sucker is gorgeous...

    I noticed no CS logo on it either, I take it that was on purpose? Why did you choose not to have it on your guitar?

    Regardless, she is awesome and now I want one in blue!

            Man, not only is UPS or the other shipping companies busy with Christmas gifts, they've delivered many guitars so it seems!

                I was going for an early "vintage" Jackson vibe with this one. The CS logo just didn't fit with that theme.

                          Looks great. only thing I'd change are binding nibs and a thicker maple top. Looks like a nice black ebony board, unlike many I was seeing earlier.
