Thats what I have been asking. The Ke2T model was only made in 2001 and had body binding. This one is a 1998 so I am confused. The serial number makes it to be a production USA model but its the only one of its kind that I can tell
Could it be a re-top? Or maybe a transitional piece when they were testing options for Marty?
DOnt think its a re-top, I had the thing apart and it looked real clean
It was said to have been ordered by an artist but when he got it there was something out of spec so he reused and sent it back to Jackson. DCGL ended up with it direct from Jackson and it was then sold to the first owner. I am the third owner. 1998 and its brand new
No Stuka, Jackson Custom 25th Anniversary Randy Rhoads, White with Black Pinstripes 1 of 25. Quakana had some photo cd pics of it a while back. Am I right Quakana?
Edit: I see Quakana already answered.

She's baaaaaaack! OK I just found this thread (searching for KE2T info), and was shocked to see my guitar here. I bought it last week from a guy in RI (not Quakana). The electronics were thrashed, so I had it rewired (no big deal). All the important stuff (neck, body, etc) is near mint. I guess she has a bit of history here on the JCF, that's kind of cool! I took the 9's off and put my trademark 10.5's on there, which she took very nicely (seems like that can be a real headache at times). The neck has nice gentle relief after being adjusted, and buzzing is minimal. I've been in the market for a Friedman Kelly for a while because of the fixed bridge and comfortable control layout, so I flipped out when I saw this baby was for sale.

I own this guitar's brother: a KE-1 from 1998 with the same quilted top and string-thru body, except with a single jb humbucker, one volume knob, and a transparent red finish as opposed to the blue. I've had it for over 12 years now and I'm thinking of selling it if anybody's interested.
I'm at my work computer, so this is the best picture I could find online of it. I can post better pictures when I get home.
Okay, let me try this again. Yesterday I tried to post some info about my similar guitar and the only picture I could grab from my work computer was one from my old band's myspace page. A couple hours later I was "banned for life". So first off, if anything I'm posting is objectionable, can I please get a warning before the ban-hammer comes crashing down? Thanks.
Anyways, yesterday I posted that I own this guitar's brother. Its exactly the same except for a single humbucker and a red finish. I bought this guitar in late '98 and the guy told me that it was a one-off built for Marty Friedman who didn't care for the tunomatic/string-thru set up and thus it came into the stores possession. I figured the guy was full of it and just trying to make a sale, but the more I've inquired, the more it seems like this is a possibility. Here's a few pics of it. In over 12 years of looking, I've never seen another like it. Sorry, I've never owned a decent camera and the pictures I do have just dont do the quilt top justice.
