  • KE2 Control Plate Picture [I need a picture]

Hi, I want to know how much room is in the Jackson KE2's control plate on the back of the guitar. (to see if there's room to wire up EMGs to an 18V power supply per pickup) as shown here>

    Thanks in advance!

Here ya go bud. Although my KE2T is different as it has only 1 volume knob and no tone + a three way switch. It did have 1 9 volt in there for 2 emg's but I removed them. I dont think I could have fit another one in there but am not 100% sure.

        Mario ,

How much of a difference did you actually notice ??I have emg 81 - 85 sets on a couple of guitars (thinking about trying it on one )

Almost no tonal difference, but the headroom (the amount of output that can be handled before the signal gets dirty) was significantly higher and clearer.
