Does this look legit?

Hi. I'm new to the forum and just won the bid on Item 320070018519 at evilbay.

A brand new Sl2H in gun metal grey. Just thought I'd ask the opinions of the experts here.



To make a long story short...

I've wanted a Jackson for 16 years. I went to buy one 16 years ago and was persuaded to go with an Ibanez S540LTD. I recently purchased a new S2170 "prestige" Ibanez to replace/have as backup to the my S540's. It sux by comparison. So I've been trying out all kinds of guitars. About a month ago, I hunted down a SL2H locally to try out (blue ghost flame). It played Awesome. The quality was superb. The binding and fretwork was hard to match. Plus all the cool stuff like real MOP, Duncans, Floyd, Neck Thru, etc.

Anyway...


Any feedback is appreciated.

Yeah, it is grey, not the most exciting color. But I like grey, it holds up well.

Besides, it reminds of the one I'm replacing.

I can't wait. These guitars are just so sweet.

I played alot of differant guitars with trems...but these are just the best.

yup very nice score, kinda unique too as you dont see that color on Jacksons as often as the rest .

The 540sltd isnt too shabby either, great model. I used to have it in that crazy purple neon color. Oddly enough it got replaced by my 1st Jackson a black ghost flames SL1

I was also watching that ad. One thing I noticed though is the bidding that went on. If you are bidder #1 it shows that you bid 5 times and were the onyl one bidding. I don't remember seeing a reserve on this one. So why would you bid yourself up like that? Or possibly some shilling going on?

Well the deall fell through.

I msg'd the guy about payment and asked if he had the inspection tag, allen keys, etc. and if he could take a pic of the serial number. I never heard back from him.

So I ordered a SL2H BGF. It should be here tomorrow.

Ahh that sucks. but hey, the BGF is cool color too! Also it seems you didn't go the evilbay route this time so you wont be in the dark on it. Post some pictures when you get it and congrats!
