    hi im new to the forum, i wanted to let u guys and girls see this. its an 87 jackson strat, but its got a san dimas plate. i think its one of the first made in ontario. have a look and tell me what u think. ine never seen one with a plain ebony fretboard.i picked it up for about£100 including hard case. it has a kahler flatmount trem and emg 81 and 2 emg singles.

        The SD plated Jacksons were made in Ontario Ca.I think they are some of the best Jacksons out there.All were custom made as they had no production guitars at that time.What is the serial number BTW.

            Got a pic of the back? does it have the small SD route or the larger Ontario route.The rev headstocks(the early ones) had the large logo like yours.Later they used a smaller logo on the rev pointys
            I have an 86 rev pointy with rosewood board and MOP sharks that has the bigger logo.

                  yeah £100, thats $200 us. a friend sold it to me. he definately gave me a good deal!!
