  • Is this one legit?

the pickups i think have been replaced, but the serial number fits (001313) the seller's saying it's an 80's custom, but i say it's a '91 ontario DK1 w/ replaced pickups

a friend of mine is interested in buying it.

Very cool guitar! Where is he buying that from? Looks legit to me.

We have to arrange a meet-up or something once so we can try each others guitars a little bit .

Very cool, but it is a 91 Dinky.
            The DK1 didn't exist until the mid-late 90's.
The six digit serial means it was a production guitar, not a custom.
All customs, even today, only have 4 digit serials. Not sure what they will do when they reach 9999, but most likey they will just add the extra digit.

            Serial xxxx = Custom
            Serial 00xxxx = Regular production

Plus, the old DK1 was 22 frets and not 24.

                  Maybe the seller meant "customized".
