KV2 transparent red or amber?

I did see the pic, but as you can see, it's just a close up and most of the pics are of the black hardware evolution.

I have a trans green KV-2. Got it on Ebay a little while ago.

And your point is? You wanted to see pics of one in amber, you got it... with its original chrome hardware and then black hardware.

Just out of interest, what colour is the back and does it have a painted or oiled neck? Apart from the e-bay pics of that green KV2 (sweet), I haven't seen the back of a trans. finished KV2.

By the way, II totally agree with you on the black hardware. I always wondered why they insist on making the trans. colour ones with silver hardware. Of course, I also wonder why only the trans. colour ones get matching headstocks. I do this wondering while I should be working. Like now...

I'm sorry guys, I didn't mean to make you angry or something, I just wanted to see a pic from the normal KV-2 (with it's chrome hardware) in a regular full sized pic, (like the ones posted here on the first page of this post) so I can get a complete idea of how it looks. I don't mean no dis-respect or whatever, I'm just being curious. Some of you guys tend to judge and after a while say something like "what's the difference" "it's just a guitar", etc, I understand you, but I was just trying to gather more information, and in this case I wanted to see a Trans Red or Amber (like yours) but as I said in their standard versions, with the chrome hardware, and if possible, a pic where you see the whole guitar.

Sorry for the problems.

Hey, Leo. When I looked at this thread, there isn't a SINGLE King V in amber burst except the one I put up. You wanted trans red or amber. I don't see a single one on this thread except the one I bothered to put up for you, in both hardware options.

Hey, Ken. The back is finished in a slightly darker/browner amber, but no flame. The neck is painted, not oil. I'll post pictures of this guitar in a normal size pic later tonight if I remember.

Post the pics whenever you get the chance. There's no rush (well, for me anyway!). I was just wondering about the neck, as there's just been a lot of chat about the painted/oiled finish in other threads. I would have guessed it's as you described, an amber/dark orange back through which you can see the wood grain.

I have a KV2 in black. I didn't really consider a trans. colour, as I didn't think it would suit. But, seeing yours has changed my mind...

Yes, thanks a lot for the trans amber KV-2, I had already seen it on the gallery but as I said there wasn't a full sized pic to see the whole guitar and it had black hardware (also, no full sized pic ofit with chrome hardware) I was hoping to see a regular one.

I still wanna see that trans red, I'm pretty curious about that too.
