Show Me The Maple.

Hi all, My names Pitt. I'm a small collector of Charvel strat heads, and I recently got a look at my forum brothers custom shop Jackson with flame maple neck. I was wondering if any non special order Jacksons came with a maple board? I'm a maple only guy, and so this is whats kept me on the Charvel side.

I'm ready to order one from the custom shop, but if they existed in the the 80's-90's I would prefer one of those, Vintage axes are more my thing since you get Free Mojo!

As far as USA Jacksons go (and ignoring Charvels), currently just the PC1 has a maple board. Other than that, you'd have to look for older guitars (inc JRS1 and various older bolt-ons) - there are a few (very few) neck thrus with maple boards as well.....

yup Lee's axe sure has some pretty flame on that neck that's for sure...

Jackson's DK2M is the affordable Maple neck guitar it is however a bolt on.. but that being said it is 1 of the nicest bolt on's I own...

Flame maple board? I just got this today. My first USA Jackson. I opened up the case picked it up and played it, and said "where have you been all of my life"!!

BTW, Mr C, you got my signature blue holoflash! I had Mitchel do one for me early last year on a Baretta II. He had mine in the custom gallery for that finish! They're unreal in person! Cool stuff...
