  • Selling my KE2....advice

Okay, I want to sell my Snow white KE2 with the case. It's an '06 and I've only had it for about 3 months and so this thing is dead mint, in a brand new condition along with the case. I know selling something expensive isn't always easy, but I got this for $1500 and I'm asking $1300 for it.....These are roughly $1700-$1800 brand new so, considering it's condition and all, am I asking too much. I'm selling it on ebay and local classifieds and people about 25 people have asked me if they'd take it for $1000, or if I'd want a trade....I'm thinking that if it finally comes to a last resort, $1200 is the lowest I'd ever sell it for.

I have the same exact guitar, only maybe a couple years older. I think I paid $1325 brand new. I know I would never get what it is worth, which is why I still have it.

[edit] neither of the last 2 KE2's I have sold broke the 1000 dollar mark, and they were both mint. EDS ($850) and Trans Blue. ($960) Of course that was a year or two ago. With the price increase, you may get what you want.

generally, the guitars being sold on ebay are sold quite less for what they're worth. Just sell it for the best offer you get. If not $1300 then $1100 atleast, $1000 isn't bad either but you might get a better offer.

i'd say hold on to it until you get a decent offer, but be prepared to wait a while , one of those low ball offers will come around
