String don't line up over the polepieces.

Notice the neck pup doesn't have Seymour Duncan printed on it. This guitar is brand new.

i don't think they ever line up perfectly. The guitar could have Standard pickups installed in it instead of trembuckers too.

I think it actually is a trembucker. With a trembucker the e-strings line up with the outer edges of the pole pieces, they are not dead center.

What does it have for PU`s?...

I have on my RR-3 SH-2 and SH-4...And they line up perfectly as
            I said before...

I'm a retard. I know that isn't normal. Both pups are shifted towards the treble side of the guitar. If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have none at all.

              I give up.

That's no big deal. Seymour Duncan sometimes doesn't put logos on all of their pickups. You can order them with or without logos.

Real quetion is does it sound bad to you? I am not sure after thinking about this before on my own situation of ordering a non trembucker for a guitar with a trem. How much does it really matter that the strings dont line up?
SO the poles are not as close as they could be...if you are that worried about it raise the bass side of the pups up closer to the strings or adjust the poles...no biggie in my mind man.

It doesn't really sound bad, it's just not right and it's brand new. The guitar plays awesome. I love it.

Ayway, I called a local Jackson service center and the guy said they'd be be able to take care of it one way or another.

Good enough for me. I might be a little anal, but I think when you buy a USA select guitar it should be "right". Regardless of whether or not it is just a cosmetic issue, if nothing else.

                      Thanks for the replies.

Maybe I'm wrong, but, could it be the angle from which you're looking at it?

Bridge : Seymour Duncan JB TB4 Humbucking Pickup

Neck : Seymour Duncan ‘59 SH1N Humbucking Pickup

The neck pup is standard spacing.

                          The bridge pickup is F-spaced.

The guitar is brand new and completely stock.

                          It is a SL2H BGF.

I wish it was, but it isn't.

I've bought a few guitars since my first guitar, over 20 years ago, and I'm tellin ya, they don't line up. Meaning, they are not symmetrical to the strings. Both pickups are shifted to the treble side of the guitar.

I was just wondering if this was common thing with these guitars.

                              It probably isn't.

I've never noticed it on the other ones I've played.
