  • Help me indentify this Jackson

    Hello everyone im new here and interested in purchasing a Jackson guitar.
    Someone is willing to sell me this guitar but they don't know the model or anything. I was hoping someone here could help me.

    Sorry I only have two pictures at the moment

    Cheers.

    Well it's made in Japan.
    If it's 24.75" scale length it's a Fusion.
    25.5" = Dinky

      True, plus the Fusions will say "Fusion HH/EX/etc..." on the truss rod cover. That isn't visible in his pictures.

        some Dinkies also have the model designation on the truss rod cover. But like Dinkies, this isn't always the case for Fusions. Plus truss rods can be changed.

        that aside, I believe that to be a Stealth. (Stealth sometimes also had the model on the truss rod cover)

        It has 22 frets, offset dots, and seems to contour down to the edges. Check the shape around those horns.

        better pics would confirm one way or another

        edit: oh, and as Ron said. Not made in the US. All "Professionals" are Japanese.
        Hail yesterday

          It's a Stealth (HX? TX?)

          You can see the top-mounted jack.

              Yeah, definately a Stealth. I had one of these for a while - loved it, very nice guitar and if you get it for the right price, great value second hand.
