  • Just Got a '96 Rhoads

Delivered yesterday - Jackson #6, but my first Rhoads. Serial # UO33 44, which makes it a mid-1996 Ontario? Frets have no wear and the Duncans sound great.

Gunmetal and super-clean. Pics don't show it, but it's a metalflake finish.

I like how the neck 'sits' at an angle when playing these guitars.
Wow, the case is a fkn monster! Nice big logo on it too.

Makes me want to play "Over The Mountain"

CONGRATS!!! What´s the matter with people? Over 10 years old COOL Jackson and NO playwear at all?!?

Ok, maybe I must admit that I respect my Jackson´s as well so high that I polish them and keep them in excellent shape all the time....you could imagine how jealeous my wife are to my Jackson´s....

Congrats! I love the USA RR's. Even had a GMG RR1T a while ago.

Congrats, that looks great! And good song choice - Over The Mountain is a great song and has one of my favorite Randy solos.

Damn, I've been wanting a pointy for a long time now. It might be time to sell the Yngwie, and the 5150 replica if need be, and take the plunge.

I get up around 4:30 am for work, so I crash early most nights.
Last night I was STILL playing the Rhoads at 11:30.

My wife thinks I'm such an asshole.:ROTF:

2000, vintage white/maple board. Shoot me a PM and we can dicuss further, I can send you pics, etc. One thing though, I'll need to have a new guitar before I sell the Yngwie. I learned my lesson the hard way a couple years ago. Sold a snakeskin Jackson strat with the intention of getting a ESP/LTD Lynch Tiger. Well, once the Snake was sold, the wife said no on the Tiger. So now I buy the next guitar first, then sell something off to cover it -lol.
