Certain EMG covers are actually removable you can tell if they dont have an EMG logo imprinted.

I like that graphic. More guitars should have the painted pick up covers. I think it makes them look way more complete

I bet you could put some of that static-cling plastic over the pickup area to protect it when you play. I can't imagine having an awesome guit like that and not playing it.
