Painted pickups are awesome, great choice! They are cleared over so unless you play like an ANIMAL you won't easily wear the paint down. Anyway, I always find the pick works best just north of the bridge pickup, so no worries. Remember the line in the movie, "It's only a dream, right?...NO, IT'S NOT!" Awesome!
"Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."
yeah, I guess it's cool if you like that sorta thing ... you know, like amazingly kick ass graphics from one of the greatest horror movies of all time. Awesome guitar man, and I agree - the reverse headstock and sharkfins most definately rule!!!
I'll give more infos on this guitar. As you can imagine, I spend my free time being a selfish b***ard playing this killing machine instead of sharing informations with my JCF bros ;-) !
It has EMG 81 & 85 pick ups, the speed neck, the three last frets are scalloped, and I put my name on the headstock, with a cenobyte font I found on the net!
Here are pics taken by Matt before sending the guitar back to factory when they forgot the scalloping :
As somebody said, it's cool that the pickups are clearcoated. I was wondering!
What do you mean, "I don't believe in God"? I talk to him every day.
