I have one of them. I was told by Mike Shannon this weekend that he thought there might be as many as 5 of them. Mine is PCS-0002. Mike did not know why this guitar of mine was a PCS SN. Anyway, 10 strings is a perfect combination for someone that wants to do normal rhythm playing but then have a really cool sound when soloing. It's almost like a chorus/detune,duplexed sound... really hard to describe but it sounds really nice. Here's a pic of mine:

Awesome looker....i would think alternate tunings on the 4 octave strings,
could render some different sounds too? Think of the options!
I still remember that page and thinking that the bottom exotic was
the best looking Jackson id ever seen.

              Norton,
I don't, but next time I get it out I will video myself. I used it on the recording of "Day by Day" on our bands myspace site http://www.myspace.com/fearoftheknown

Surely all of them apart from Danny's original would have been PCS serials?

Yeah, PCS maybe for a Danny Spitz Series... maybe DS-0002 or something, but why the same as the Black and Brass Rhoads PCS series serial numbers... PCS 0002?

PCS was more than 'just' the PCS Rhoads - there was the 'Mustaine' KV, the 10-string, the Dinky Exotic, Solid Flamed Maple Dinky etc....

Also the Collen Archtops were part of the PCS series.

All accept the PCS King V's with the "DM XX XX" serial.
