Did all early Rhoads have Crown heads?

Did all of the early production Rhoads guitars have crown heads? Or, are crown heads rare on early Rhoads?


What tuners were used on Jacksons in 83-84?
I have pictures of crown heads on an early Rhoads with gold tuners and wondered how common
this is.

I would say they are on the rare side...I've seen maybe one or two with crown heads in 20+ years.

Almost all had the black (regarless of other hardware color on the guitar) straight tab SG36 Gotohs
