Thanks for all the compliments. When I get a chance, I'll snap off some better shots. Just been reorganizing the jam-space and there are no guitar hangers up. And the sad thing is I don't have a stand that can hold a V or RR.

Would anyone know if Jackson still gives out info about custom guitars? Like it's workorder or build sheet or any history about it? They used to. All I've heard over the years is they no longer do that. Way to go on the customer service Jackson/FMIC!

Sorry to say that all I've heard indicates that they won't give out any info.

For interest, how much 'stubbier' is the guitar than a normal KV?
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

That's GREAT! A KV, with rounded-ish horns. Looks beautiful.

I've thought about doing a custom along these lines before, but closer to the roundhorn side than KV. I'm sure the lawyers would crush my idea like a bug, though.

Not really sure. I've never owned a regular KV. Never been a big fan of the V (except RRs) because I usually play in a sitting position. That is until I saw this one. I was once told it was based on the original KK Downing V shape that the Jackson shop had done. They may have referred to it as a Dinky V. Also, I'm a "big-boy" (too many cheesy poofs) so the Stubby looks tiny on me when I play it. Ha!

It doesn't look that much smaller, certainly not to the extent of KK Downings Hamers...

Ah, so you're saying you need to sell it then? Let me do you a favour......

That's one of coolest V's I've ever seen.

                    Gorgeous wood in that construction.

Would've given it a perfect 10 grade if it had the pointy headstock, I never cared for that design.
Currently at 78 guitars - Paul Reed Smith, Jackson, Robin, Washburn, Carvin, Peavey, U.S. Masters, G&L, Hamer, Godin, BC Rich, Yamaha, Fender, ESP, Kramer, Cort, Ibanez, Aria Pro & Charvel

How about a picture of the complete guitar?

lol... that reminds me of an auction Newc ran a few years ago. It had the most detailed pictures of every part of the guitar possible, like over a dozen pictures, but there was not one single shot of the guitar in it's entirety.

It was really cool to see such close ups of everything, but it left you wondering what the whole guitar actually looked like. That was pretty freaking funny. :p

Ha! I mean it's a guitar: tuning pegs, neck, frets, pickups, etc.etc. but I know what you're saying. Like I said in the earlier post I'll get some better shots up in the coming days. The jam-area is a mess and there's nowhere to hang a guitar for a complete shot. Patience grasshoper. And thanks for the kind words.
