I am giving you an unbaised opinion I bought two custom shop JCs in the last month look at my avatar. If you live nearby I can even let you compare Jacksons from the SD era to Ontario to FMIC...you cant beat that for unbiased.
Umm, no one here was even talking about getting an ESP in this thread. Apparently you belong on the ESP forum.

So how come all you do is keep talking about getting and ordering Custom Shop Jacksons and Charvels?

Yeah, like the korean made junk they have to pay guitarists to use on stage. Then you have the "signature series" models that look the same (or almost) but.... oh well, my opinion is biased anyway, because i don't like ESP necks (they feel kind of weird)

Well I am not ordering anymore CS guitars but my point is the USA selects suck my CS guitars came out OK but compared to my ESP custom guitars they are not as nice. I buy what I want I am not a brand loyal yes man.

What the fuck has this got to do with what I said? I was commenting on asking for opinions on color, not on quality.

I'm not exactly brand loyal either, but the guy wants and was asking about an RR1.

White looks classy. Black is very metal. Check their return policy if you can't test drive it. jmo

I am a noob here as you can probably tell by my previous 2 posts but I have a question about this debate. I have no doubt that some guitars are sub standard as every manufacturer has them slip through the cracks, but how would Fender's purchase of Jackson have anything to do with it? How would the CNC machines that shape drill the body suddenly know Fender bought the company? Did Fender change any key personel or reorganize the shop? From what I have read I thought that Fender bought the Jackson name/operation but that it operates independently from Fender. It just seems like tasks that are performed by machines can't be brought into the equation, the problem might be in the QC area as they may be letting more slide on that end. Maybe I have no clue as to what I am talking about, it wouldn't be the first time!
