jackson pc...help!!!

i just purchased a jackson phil collen original.the serial number is
PC 00022...i can't find any info on this anywhere...i'm assuming this is a 89 model,but any help would be apreciated.it has the single,hum setup.thanks.....

Sounds like a PC Archtop from the PCS series. Thought they were PCS serials though....

Nope... not a PCS series.
The original Collen arch tops had their own serial number... like the RR serial for Rhoads V's.

Let's see of Brooks shows up. I know he used to have build info on the original Collen arch tops.

sorry...the actual serial is pc 0022.....has original case with the jackson plate riveted on.........thanks to anyone who can help......

The first catalog reference to the arched PC was 1989:

As you were thinking, I also would imagine your number 0022 is from the 1989-90 timeframe from custom shop. (the late 80's had those rivited jackson logo plates on the cases, which is another indicator you are probably correct on the year)

would like to know if this is all maple,or what?i've wanted one since i saw the jackson ad in guitar world.....this is the first one i've ever seen in my area......had to grab it!!!

Peel them off carefully and polish it up. All black or all white PC's look awesome.
Give me a shout if you find yourself hating it.

The PCS version of the Collen Archtop was released in 1993, but your serial makes it a 1990.
