  • PC -1 "Mocca" in the house !

Im showing the Wild West pic...as my camera was dead, when i went
to take some pics...but this is the overall. And this pic does NOT show
the incredible tiger striped fretboard! Just amazing. I'll take some more
pics this week, and show some close ups. Negatives? That crazy sharp
piece of metal on the one side of the sustainer pickup. Lousy QC if
you ask me, that the installer only smacked the two outer corners over.
The metal itself is like a knife edge. Im either going to have to dremmel
it, or something. Come ON Jackson! A bit more time, and it could have
been rounded and the knife edge buffed. Other than this...Killer!
Ive been all around it with a 5X loupe and tight neck pocket, and fretwork is amazing. The neck is butta! That Sustainer is allot of fun!
Will take some time getting used to it, but very violin like...and the
feedback control is a nice feature too. Under 2K overall a bargain for
what im getting. AA quilt top.. gold hardware..
    More pics soon!

    Nice guitar! Love the finish.
The sustainer driver/pickup is like that on all of them. Don't blame Jackson... they don't make them.
That piece of metal is a shield that prevents it from interfering with the middle pickup when the sustainer is activated.
Be careful not to break it off if you want to smooth the edges... and don't use a Dremel, use a small hand file. One slip with the Dremel and it's bye bye driver. They don't sell replacements!

Nice one. I've seen some cruddy Mochas, but the quilt and color are real nice on your's. Congrats.

I've been drooling over Purple Daze lately myself.

I love that finish. If I could afford a PC-1, that's exactly what I'd get.

(But I can't afford one right now, so I hate you.)

getting some of that purple vibe.

                      Sweet guitar!
                      Congrats! I love the PC-1's.
Every one I've played has been oustanding.
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

Same here. That's the best finish on a PC-1 ever!
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
