I LOVE that finish!!!! That's actually what I was hoping for on my CS KV 7 string... Didn't come that dark, but I'll take the blame for that... anyway,... COOLNESS!!!
Hardware: all black, all the time.

I have the very same color. Looks great in person. You really can't get the same effects from a picture because these guitars are stunning in person.

Killer. Id like to see the back of the guitar, is it transparent black or solid?

                Just solid black. Typical.

Very nice Robert! Nice finish! This is the only make and model of guitar that I have more than one of! Definitely a versatile, great playing and sounding instrument! Congrats!

That's what I don't like about the new trans finishes on the PC1's.
You used to be able to see the Mahogany back on the older ones.

Some still have trans finishes on the back, e.g., this 2006 Purple Daze PC1:

Yes! Thats great looking, wish mine had some grain on the back?
I just spent 2 hours in "sustain Heaven"... drifting through waves of
drippin' feedback! Wish i had a blunt !! I am getting better at swelling
into the sustain, and then rolling off the volume knob. I can see where
this would be quite a ride once the timing and intensity are dimed!
Man, this thing just comes alive and vibrates like a weed eater!
                        Better locktight everything.

I think rjohnstone meant that the PC1s used to have backs that weren't stained at all. i.e., Natural mahogany, maybe with a slight brownish tint applied. I like 'em both ways.

                              Yep... that's what I meant.
I like the natural Mahogany look. The Redrum with a natural back looks awesome.

I thought moccha was more of a brown chocolate color....Either way that guitar is badass and that finish is gorgeous.
I would so snatch that up it if were 24 frets

I'm out like Axl Rose just before a GNR concert
