I bought the archtop Death Angel new from Matt's Music in early 2005. It was one of two built prior to winter NAMM 2004. Mine was not the one to make the trip. On the forum there are photos of the other one that went to NAMM. You can tell them apart by the flame towards the SG horn. The NAMM guitar had a nearly flawless flame. Mine gets a little funky in that area. I also bought the Death Kelly from Matts Music but it was used. The Death Kelly DID make it to winter NAMM 2004. It is 6 serial #'s apart from the Death Angel. I contacted DCGL and he sent me the work order confirming the Death Kelly was the NAMM piece.
