Definitely a very cool guitar. That guitar will get a lot of looks when you take it out in public. I can imagine anyone with a little knowledge of Jacksons will be really intrigued by it.

    Congrats!

You did, a couple of years back and a year before that. Prior to that it had spent 10-ish years with its previous owner.

                  vvv's

you know it's funny .. Jackson never seemed to have a standard template for these guitars .. every one I have seen is slightly different in some way or another .. even the latter custom shop models .. would be interesting to talk with some of the people who built these back in the day .. I'm guessing yours has a preamp fitted ? Mine doesnt but the other one I know of has .. Jackson would'nt fit an exact copy of what Vinnie used but he got the nearest to it .. with a reverse headstock .. seems a bit OTT as the sound and tone I get is incredible ( I guess mine has unbadged semours in it although I cant be sure ) I have played with an EMG Zach Wylde for a while and it really was rubbish compared to this .. tonaly and responsively ..

Very cool guitars.... I don't see one entering my household any time soon.

Given the recent pics of Pablo carving a top I can see how Jacksons of the same model might vary a bit from one to the next. And yes, mine has a preamp fitted.

That is the coolest Jackson which I have ever seen. Charvels drew me to this board, but every once in a while, I click on the Jackson USA button. As long as you have both testicles left in the deal sir, you did extremely well; absolutely orgasmic axe!

'89 I think. It's an odd trem in that the route is recessed but the trem still sits above the route but not quite as high as it would in a true non-recessed setup. Jackson did a few that way right around that time but they always look odd to me.

the angle of my vvv's body makes recessed trem not necessary .. and interesting they used a rosewood board then .. from what I gather most all were ebony .. how does it play ?
