Sam, way to go, Soloists are great guitars. I don't think you can buy a better quality guitar for the price.

              Very nice...congratz.

              BTW...the better sustain isn't a myth...those things sustain forever.

Enjoy that satiated feeling. Ain't gonna last. I got my SL1 maybe 2 months ago.

Already I am showing all "the signs"...you know, the leafing through the Musician's Friend/Sam Ash catalog on the can, the random, "just killing time" general searches on EBAY like, oh, I don't know, "SL2H RR1 DK1 w/ OMG WTF SWEET FINISH BUYITNOW!", staring at JCF as a long string of drool extends slowly but inevitably to my keyboard as I simultaniously as I check my credit card balance to see how much headroom I have, just so, ya know, I can, um, keep track of my finances! Yeah! That's it.

                  In short- You're screwed, buddy.

Oh...And that is a very beautiful guitar.

^ I got a pretty bad threat from my wife last night. So, I better ACT as if my GAS is subdued.

Regardless, it's a solid investment in a quality instrument.

Thanks. I dont know if this has been said before but I noticed, the sl2 feels much lighter than the "Super lightweight soloist" SLSMG. I know the slsmg is made of mahogany. But its not as "lightweight" when compared to the SL2.

I drink in Moderation.--"Moderation" is an imaginary place that exists where ever I am.

                                LOL !!!
