Need info regarding 1990 Rhoads

    Interesting...RRs usually had three knobs...volume, tone and one for JE1200 electronics (midboost). This one has a switch....maybe it's a JE1000 gain boost? Those had a little pot inside to set the gain level and three little dip-switches to shape the sound a little bit.

      I've been pretty much playing acoustic since my son was born; I've only played my electrics a few times. It's kind of a hassle with a 2-year old constantly pulling out the cable, turning the knobs, etc. Hopefully, he'll grow out of it! It is a shame that the Jackson isn't getting played, though.

          yes, that is the JE-1500 set up there, master volume, master tone, boost switch. my white Rhoads has that same set up in the gallery except mine's a single hum...

                Battery compartment.I had an 90 that had 2 J-90s and an 18 volt(2 battery) control route like that.Mine was Ferrari red.Red headstock and white logo.BTW JE 1500 PC board.
                A brutal sounding guitar.I wish I still had it.
