I haven't heard anything about the KS guitars in a while. Anyone know if you can you still order one from the CS ? If anybody has pics, posting them would be kick ass ! Thanks !
I'm not afraid to bleed, but I won't do it for you.

I don't know if this is much help, but the Japanese market Jackson Stars quite regularly make Kelly-Stars. Ikebe Gakki had a plain black one quite recently, a J2 for circa 126k Yen. Here's a custom Jackson Stars Kelly Star:
Thanks Ken ! I'm sure going after a Stars one would be a hell of a lot easier than waiting for a US made one to come up. The last US one I've seen for sale was about two years ago on Evilbay. Really sharp looking in EDS finish. It was going for a little over 2k, but I should've snagged it ........ ugh !

Yeah, I guess Kelly-Stars as rare as hens' teeth.
Based on recent experience, if you ordered a semi-custom Jackson Stars Kelly-Star with USA Select specs (MoP, flame top, ebony board), I'd guess it'd be about 200k yen (approx 1600 dollars), including shipping. Graphic finishes seem quite expensive. If you fancy EDS, it'd probably be about 15-25k yen extra (in lieu of the flame veneer). Best of all, it'd be ready in 4 months. Certainly no harm in mailing one of the stores for a quote. As for how good a semi-custom J-Stars is, I'll let you know next month!
