The RR1T is the same as the RR1 pretty much. And if I'm not mistaken, I believe the KV2T is more expensive than the KV2. There is a list of MSRPs for all new Jacksons here:

Crafted with the demands of the discernible player in mind, Jackson guitars give you the shapes, finishes and tones you love. From the venerable Rhoads, Soloist, Warrior and more, shop Jackson for the highest performance.

Guitar Center actually had a USA Select? Man. I have never seen that!

On the RR1 vs. RR1T, you are correct Sir!

Not 100% positive if it was a usa select but it was an rr1. I thought rr1's were only usa's?

Choose by your own preferences, but the KV kills the RR by the looks imo

Really? The GC in Atlanta has a black RR-1 and a black KV-2. Perfect opportunity to try 'em back to back. Of course, it's a big GC and the two in the 'burbs, Marietta and Lawrenceville, don't have a single USA. Where do you live, b1ackened? Or in boost mobile/ebonics talk, "where you at?".

To answer a couple questions nobody answered...

USA Select is just the fancy name for a standard production Made in USA guitar. These are made in large batches, and are standardized. Custom Shop USA guitars are built to order, take 12-24 months to receive and cost a lot more.

The cost difference between a standard USA Select RR1 and a custom shop Rhoads with 24 frets would probably cost about $1200-$1500 more.

As others have said, the price on the RR1 and RR1T is about the same. Just pointing out though, that the RR1T has the neck tilted back a bit like Gibsons because of the higher sitting tune o matic bridge.

I prefer the looks and feel of a Rhoads. Smaller, more elegant look, and killer at the same time. You can play more comfortable with them while sitting down also. Randy Rhoads is the best V in terms of "balance" you will always look elegant with them and brutal at the same time, unlike a King V that you will always look brewtal

In the end... Rhoads simply wins... just because of the name

Me? King V. I feel that the shape is more balanced and it has features that to my requirements are better than those on the Rhoads. The RR1 has 22 frets, and it has a weird V/T/T control configuration. I prefer 24 frets and the V/V/T controls. Plus, I don't like having a pickguard, specially on a V type guitar. The King V to me just looks nicer and cleaner than the RR1. If they made the KV-2 with extra jumbo frets (Dunlop 6100 or something like that), a mahogany body and neck and with dual EMG 81 pickups... I wouldn't be ordering a custom shop guitar anymore.
