I just read above that the RR1 has a VTT instead of VVT and that it has 22 frets... is it wrong ?

Older Rhoads models had V/V/T. I believe the newer ones are V/T/T and have been for quite awhile.

Yeah, I think the RR comes stock with VTT, but you can easily change it. I'm not sure if you need to change pots or if you can just switch wires around, but if you can solder it's easy and cheap enough.

My RR1 was made in 2000 and it has V/T/T config. I think I would prefer V/V/T as my tone is always at 10.

My '98 RR1 has V/V/T. V/T/T is gay. Why the hell would you need that? Tone knobs are evil and suck...well...tone.

                I agree.

Well, I don't think they're necessarily evil, but I don't use them much

I would have to agree that the v/t/t isnt for me, i prefer the kv2 anyway.

also, tone knobs can be useful if you want a creamier sound.

(but still i don't use it)

You could easily change it yourself. I don't know exactly how to do it, but the most you'd have to do is buy a $5 pot and move some wires around.

I will definately look into that, I just got the guitar last month so I'm taking things one at a time. I'm no wizard with electronics but there are guitar techs in town that I can ask.
