And you mentioned that you were disappointed it didn't have the scalloped horn: you can't really scallop an arched horn - you get the arched top with the pseudo-scallop carved into it or the scallop without the archness.

Heh if I had to wager a guess I'd say that was the original guitar before it was damaged in shipping the first time.

I'll never sell this guitar. I don't even really play any more I take better care of it than I do my car. :ROTF:

I originally came to see if there was still pics of the guitar around so apologies for reply to a post over a year old . There is the one that someone kindly posted but the ones from Matt I don't have anymore. And those close up shots were gorgeous. Damn computer fried. I was hoping they were floating around somewhere but I guess I'll have to actually take some pictures of it finally.

I love Jacksons and I love translucent green Jacksons! It's just my opinion, but you shouldn't have let them get away with building a "custom" guitar that didn't match all your specifications. Not being able to do a scalloped horn should have been clarified in some type of correspondence. Green/Blue burst is an awesome finish and really would have made this a "custom". I'm sure you paid $$$$$$$ and you should have got exactly what you ordered. Unfortunately, that's how customer service is nowadays in all avenues of life. Folks just don't care anymore about "quality service.", courtesy, etc........"Sad but true."
