  • KV-MF Specification

Does anyone here know the Specification of KV-MF???
What is the PU, body, year and so on???
    Thanks

I'm pretty sure the body was poplar, maple neck through. Thought the KV-MF had dual hums, if so it was a TB-5 Duncan Custom and an SH2N Duncan Jazz. 1996

Are all 150 KV-MF made in the same year???
and some sellers said it was TB4 and SH5. I'm so confused

Well the run began in later 1996, I had KE MF 059 and it was from November of that year, so it's possible some went into early 1997. The "TB" is Duncan's designation for trembucker, or F spaced pickup as used with a tremolo like a Floyd. The SH is normal spacing. The Mustaine King V (unlike the Friedman Kelly) had two Duncans, I thought the bridge was a TB-5 (Duncan Custom) but it might have been a TB-4. The Friedman Kelly certainly was a TB-4, and the poles were gold too.

Yeah, do that. Let us know how that turns out...

IOW, the experts here at the JCF would know more about it than current Fender guys...

Um... Dave Mustaine? I thought that's what is was on the Pro Mustaine sig guitars back in the early 90's. The later KV-1 Mustaine sigs had regular U serial numbers.
I feel festive all year round. Deal with it.
