I think there's a dodgy picture of him with Robb Flynn in one of the old catalogues from back in the Vio-lence days. If I find the page, I'll edit this post and link it in.
EDIT: Here it is, the 1990-1991, Phil is third from right with the RR (Robb is far right):

Originally posted by Norton View PostThe Deans are very expensive, especially for where they're made. They're asking 1000-1200 for Chinese made guitars and 3600 for USA's. Dean Zelinsky's outta his mind.
they have a matt heafy "signature colored" razorback and the kiddies bought it up quicktime.
as long as Dean can market to fanboys (dimebag, trivium....megadeth) then they can keep their prices high as they are right now
I was on the Dean forum for a long ass time, and I knew their product line and pricing so well. I went to a local guitar shop the other day and saw one of their limited japanese RR's with the black/yellow.....goddamn!!! now THAT'S worth the money! Dean is coming out with Japanese made guitars soon and they will likely be in the 2k range....wtf????

Phil always seemd to have played Jacksons, even in the lean days between Vio-lence and Machine Head. After he joined Machine Head and they released Through The Ashes of Empires, I remember him saying he was pretty stoked about signing a new endorsement deal with Jackson, because he was looking forward to getting some new guitars. That's a better attitude than most to endorsment.

So three of the four Sigs are: Phil Demmel modified KV; Christian Olde Wolbers 8 String COW; and John Cambell's bass.
Anyone know the last one?
