Check out the serial info on the Jackson website. Not sure how recent it goes though....

Jackson's site doesn't list any made after 2001.
I think Ron has been keeping track of the newer ones.
He may pop in and give you an idea as to when they were built.

Several months back I asked for assistance on the age of my soloist, and between posts from a couple of very helpful people here, I was able to determine that my soloist SL1T (serial u14953) came from October 2004.

i love this forum.
the reason why i asked is because i own the kelly and i was curious to know when it was built and i just bought the soloist which i still have to receive.
i`ll post some pictures when i put my hands on it...
