I agree about the SLATQH's. Funny thing is I never really considered the 4 colors you mentioned before. Then I saw pix of them and they are truly stunning! I should take a group picture at some point, it just takes so much time to set up everything.

One of the members here bought on in Cabo blue, which looked great. I wonder if they ever used chlorine on a SLATQH?

I think all the SLATQH finishes were awesome, but the one I like the best was finished in Tabacco Sunburst. When I was looking to buy one, that's what I wanted, but couldn't get my hands on one. Totally drool-worthy:

When I bought mine, it was it or one in Natural. The top on the CSB had nicer figuring, so I went with it, even though I'm really not a CSB type of guy.

Here's the original MZ photo of it:

A couple of years ago the Music Zoo had a CS soloist that was, basically, a modification of an SLATQH in Chlorine. It was for sale when I bought mine. The colour is cool, but I really don't dig the single sharkfin inlay:

Here you go Ken... picture's from an old thread. They are all beautiful looking instruments but if I couldn't have picked up the TB I would have tried for blue or the natural.

That chlorine looks awesome. Even with the single inlay. I would love to have that guitar!

Now that's what I'm talking about Tashtego!

I think you made the right choice with the TB. The onlything that could have made it more desireable (IMO) is if it was a trans-black finish on the back.

I'll get a better full pic of the CSB this weekend and post it. It's a beautiful guitar, but TB is perfect.

I wasn't tempted at all! The MZ peeps weren't amuzed at all when I called it ugly.

If necessary, you throw people out to make more room Its weird because I seem to always be just one guitar short of having enough :ROTF:
BTW, the TB and Natural SLATQH's posted here are nice!!! Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a SLATQH that wasn't a knockout in the looks dept.

Haha, it always seems like you can always make room for one more. Then soon enough you have no room for a bed and youre sleepin on road cases

That is such a nice looking guitar I haven't minded the painted neck on mine but I think the oil finish would be cool as hell. I'm sold on mahogany for the neck though, for tone. I wonder how much it would be to send this one back to Jackson and tell them to finish putting all the sharkies on.
