Here's my SLATQH in Cabo. I got it about 6 weeks ago, '04 NOS. I had it Plek'd to fix a hump in the neck/frets on the high E and B strings between the 14th and 20th frets - she's my best playing guitar now (out of 11, 3 others Plek'd). Upgrades include gold pickup rings, polished brass (couldn't find gold) truss rod cover from our very own Budman (thanks Dave!), and I replaced the bridge JB with a Custom (awesome!).

I've played a few J/C Custom Shops, and this guitar is their equal - actually, even better now that it's been Plek'd. Same quality as my new PRS Custom 22. As CS prices have gone thru the roof lately, I'd highly recommend grabbing one of these if you get the chance - CS quality for half the price! I LOVE mine - I'll NEVER sell it!

This would be mine and yes the outdoor pics are still the old "sambencuda" pics lol! I've since changed the truss rod cover and the switch tip.... the oiled mahogany neck is just unreal and this is by far the most "comfortable" guitar I own......

Yes, they're:

SM-1n
Vintage, neck
SM-1b
Vintage, bridge


They are not as "gainy/thick" as a full size humbucker and have a very "gilmourish" tone to them.

When I bought mine, which I didn't get to play until it arrived, I was worried that it had a baseball bat neck. Luckily for me (small hands), it doesn't. But it's definitely thicker than the necks of my SL1 and SL2H. Still very comfortable for me, though...
