Hey.... What color should I paint this Soloist? It's a Birdseye maple fretboard, reverse headstock with mother-of-pearl inlay. It's a neck through so the neck will also be painted!

Just because it's a neck thru doesn't mean it needs to be painted. There are many custom shop axes out there with raw necks. Personally, I prefer a finished neck.
I have the same question as well, what paint job? And by who?

Ideally, that Jackson should be done in a Tie Dye or Red Ghost Flames, but if you want to keep it simple, Snow White Pearl would be cool. Whatever you do, please don't paint that neck.

I used to be a huge advocate of raw finish necks, however, since I got my RR1 I've grown just as fond for them. And agreed, white would look good too.Comment
