  • The Arrival: AT-1 w\ 4+2 headstock!

Some of you probably saw this one on eBay. I know most people aren't a fan of the headstock shape, but I am . . . especially with 4+2 Sperzels! It's S/N 002997 (Ontario) and entirely stock. Mahogany body (dark trans green back) with thick maple cap and Kent Armstrong JVA-1 humbuckers.

Not really a metal guitar, but I've wanted a trans green Jackson for a long time now. I was having trouble deciding whether or not to pull the trigger, so my wife tricked me into leaving the room just long enough to long onto her own eBay account and hit the BIN. She's an enabler if ever there was one!

I guess it'll have to be via PM, because non-gear stuff isn't supposed be posted in the Classifieds section.

Does anyone know how many of the 4+2 version were made?

Sweet guitar ! I might of pulled the trigger if it were an AT-1T... and I'm a sucker for trans green guitars. I have no idea how many 4+2 ATs were made, but I think I heard it was either 10-20 or 20-30 before EBMM put the stops on.

                          Nice guitar!...

I call dibs if you ever decide to get rid of it and I can afford to buy another guitar.

Mind if ask what you paid for it?

The seller wasn't taking bids, just a BIN of $835. I know that these guitars sometimes go for quite a bit less, but 1) it is practically mint, 2) the finish/top is incredible and 3) it has the different tuner arrangement that I knew was pretty rare. This is one of the few times where I saw a guitar for a reasonable price and knew that I'd regret it later if I passed on it. I let a transparent green-to-black burst Dinky XL get away from me earlier in the year, so I wasn't going to let this one slide.

So where's this one going to fit into Under Eden's set?
