The battery clip is original my 87 is just like that.The chrome nut could be too they did that a lot.The VMT 3M means vol,tone,mid boost,3 mini switchs so the 3rd hole is correct.I would leave it just as you have it.I'll bet it sounds great with the BL's.RS guitarworks kits are the tits good choice.Just installed a kit in my new mutt project.
Thats is one of the best looking SD plated Jacksons I've seen in a while.I want it!!!!
