I just picked up this sweet Kelly from a fellow forum member. You may have seen it already. Beautiful guitar, sounds awesome, neck is great, action is nice. Love how the blue seeps through the shark fin inlays. I must say though, I am having one hell of a time playing this bad boy sitting down! Any secrets? I know, standing up is the key, but I like to sit to play. I had a Gibson Explorer that was much easier to play sitting down. Regardless, sweet axe and it sounds AWESOME!

Nice guitar! I have problems sitting down with my Kelly too. I seem to try to control the balance by pressing my right arm against the body and after a while, it gets painful. I started using a very short strap when sitting down which seems to alleviate the problem.

That's exactly right! my right arm starts killin' me while I play it. I'll try the short strap idea. Thanks!

Great song, more obscure then some of the others. Ratings and comments appreciated. \m/

From 100 greatest guitar solos Marty Friedman plays his old signature model Jackson Kelly

He looks comfortable, but he can probably play anything with ease.

                    Cool guitar!
Can't talk little man? Bet can't play none, either...

Thanks my man. Yep, I you-tubed Jackson Kelly to check out how other folks do it. I saw those two Friedman videos and he looks hella comfortable. But then again, He's Marty Friedman. I'm Ben Evans...Who? EXACTLY! LOL. In fact, everyone I've seen on You Tube with a Kelly look very comfortable. I am not! Jeesh.

I'm sure there is a learning curve with it though so no worries.

Congrats on the Kelly! You're the second in a week to tease me with a newly acquired Kelly. Looks like I need to order one as there seem to be only two KE2's in L.A. and I don't want white or ghost flames.
